The following information is provided only as an estimate of costs associated with participation in the Georgia Tech ISYE Summer Program in Europe. A nonrefundable deposit of $500 (applied toward the program fee) is due upon submission of the application. The remaining program costs—including tuition, fees, and additional charges—will be billed to your Georgia Tech student account.

Program Fee: ~$8,750

The program fee includes accommodations throughout the program, international health insurance, ground transportation, cultural excursions, and logistical support in each location. This fee does not include Georgia Tech tuition and mandatory student fees, international airfare, course materials, or personal expenses.

Airfare: ~$1,800–$2,000 (Not Included in Program Charge)

Students are responsible for arranging and paying for their own international airfare to and from the program. This cost is not included in the program fee..

Miscellaneous/Out-of-Pocket Expenses: ~$2,350

This estimated amount covers personal costs such as books and supplies, visa fees, local transportation, and meals not included in the program charge. Actual expenses may vary from student to student, and this figure is based on past participant experiences.

Additional Personal Travel Expenses (Optional):

Students often choose to explore during weekends or free time. These costs are optional and can vary widely depending on travel style and destinations, but students should plan ahead if they intend to participate in independent travel.

These non-billable expenses vary by student and may include:

  • Meals not covered by the program
  • Personal transportation and incidentals
  • Personal entertainment and shopping
  • Independent weekend travel (including optional trips to other countries)

Please note these figures are estimates and subject to change. Students should budget according to their individual needs and review Georgia Tech’s official tuition schedules for the most accurate tuition and fee information.

Program Cancellation Policy:

Withdrawals requested after February 14, 2026, and on/before March 1, 2026, will be eligible to receive up to 60% refund of the program fees paid or due up to that date (not including non-refundable deposit). After March 1, 2026, there will be no refund, and you will be responsible for 100% of the program fee associated with the GT ISYE Summer Program in Europe (except for tuition, which is refundable as specified in the Summer OSCAR). Students who are dropped from the program due to academic or disciplinary probation will also be responsible for program fees payments based on this withdrawal/refund policy.
